Stories from the Eroding EdgeEroding Edges explores the changing lives and identities of American communities living at the forefront of climate change. Using combined approach of photography, film, academic research and advocacy, the project focuses beyond the sensationalism of the tragedy and towards stories of hope and heroism for those who are working to protect their homes and cultural heritage. By telling these stories we hope to help share and advocate for locally created solutions for communities in need of adaptation or relocation away from our country’s most vulnerable coastlines. Michael O. Snyder is a photographer, filmmaker, and founder of Interdependent Pictures. Connecting on Climate Action with The Climate MuseumThe Climate Museum is a start-up dedicated to creating a hub for climate engagement and leadership in a challenging world: a public space where we can gather to learn about climate change, face our fears, share solutions, and commit to action. We are excited to participate at this year’s Yale Environmental Sustainability Summit with our interactive photo station—come share your ideas about promoting climate action. This space will be available throughout the day on Friday. |
